Anglo Normandy Aeroengineering Limited

Anglo Normandy Aeroengineering Limited (ANAE) is an aircraft
maintenance and repair facility based in Guernsey,
British Channel Islands. It carries out maintenance and repair of regional
aircraft worldwide, primarily on the ATR42 / 72, Saab 340A and Saab 340B,
Shorts SD 360, DHC-6 Twin Otter, BN Islander and Trislander.
ANAE was established in Guernsey in 1975 for
the provision of maintenance services to private and air taxi operators.
Expansion began after an affiliation with, and as the sole provider of
maintenance support to, Aurigny Air Services Limited - the Channel
Islands' own airline operating a fleet of Trislander and ATR
aircraft.
The growth curve received a further boost in the nineties with a move into a
new purpose built state-of-the-art hangar. This coincided with the strong
growth in regional airlines in the UK
and Europe first with the Shorts SD-330 /
SD-360 and then with the economically more viable advanced turboprops such as
the ATR42/72 and Saab 340. From that point on ANAE's focus was directed
exclusively to providing base and line maintenance services to regional
airlines and the new generation of freight and parcels carriers.
Although the sister company Aurigny Air Services' fleets of ATR72, and Trislander still account for half of
ANAE's turnover, the provision of services to third parties worldwide is of
vital interest to ANAE.
