Career & Employment Opportunities

Anglo Normandy Aeroengineering was founded in 1975 and now provides aircraft maintenance services to its sister company Aurigny Air Services, and to regional airline and freight operators worldwide.

The business employs around 50 engineers and support staff.  Qualified Engineers hold EASA and CAA approvals – qualifications that are recognised throughout Europe.  Additional staff are employed in Administrative Roles, which include Technical Records; Stores; Accounts; Marketing and Cleaning.

The majority of work is carried out at Guernsey Airport, either within the state-of-the-art hangar or on the apron.  Work for Third Party Operators provides for the possibility of ANAE qualified engineers being sent on short-term contracts anywhere in the world.

ANAE also offers Apprenticeships in Aircraft Engineering and related subjects.  Applicants are chosen on the basis of their motivation plus evidence of a genuine desire to be involved in the maintenance of aircraft. Entry requirements include a practical ability, plus GCSE in Mathematics, Combined Science (Physics), Craft Design & Technology and English Language.

Currently we are looking for;

We are seeking to employ a Part 66 B1 or B1/B2 licensed Line Engineer with a ATR 72 type rating to support Aurigny’s  fleet of  3 ATR 72’s and 6 BN2A Trislander’s.   It would be advantageous if the applicant held a B1.2 Piston Aeroplanes licence, but training may be supported to the right candidate.

The position is permanent and entails shift work.

Due to the limited space together with the many positive reasons to live here in Guernsey, it means that there are certain requirements you will need to meet to move here, (if you are not already a qualified local resident).

If you are considering applying for this position and you do not qualify as a local resident, you should read the Guernsey Government Web Pages, particularly those referring to  “Controls on who can live and work in Guernsey”  and  “Moving to Guernsey as an Essential Skilled Worker” at  www.Guernsey.gov.gg
