Career & Employment Opportunities

Anglo Normandy Aeroengineering was founded in 1975 and now provides aircraft maintenance services to its sister company Aurigny Air Services, and to regional airline and freight operators worldwide.

The business now employs around 70 engineers and support staff. Qualified engineers hold CAA, JAA and FAA approvals - qualifications recognised throughout Europe. Additional staff are employed in administrative roles, including the maintenance of technical records, stores, cleaning, accounts and marketing. The majority of work is carried out at Guernsey Airport, either within the state-of-the-art hangar or on the apron. Work for third party operators often provides for the possibility of ANAE qualified engineers being sent on short-term contracts anywhere in the world.

ANAE also offers apprenticeship courses in aircraft engineering and related subjects. Applicants are chosen on the basis of their motivation plus evidence of a genuine desire to be involved in the maintenance of aircraft. Entry requirements include a practical ability, plus GCSE mathematics, combined science (physics), craft design & technology and English language.

Currently we are looking for;

Motor Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic

The right person will be experienced, self motivated, and able to service and repair a wide variety of vehicles and ground equipment. Experience with Hydraulics, Diesel equipment, and welding an advantage.

Airframe / Engine Fitters

Servicing and repairing a wide variety of aircraft, this varied and interesting role requires flexible working in a team environment to high standards and tight deadlines. Whilst an aircraft maintenance background is desirable, applicants also welcomed with a motor vehicle or other mechanical background, such as sheet metal fabrication.
